CHA Winter 2014: Tim Holtz

Hello!  Back again for more CHA recap.  Tonight it is all about the Tim Holtz releases.  Oh, where do I begin?  I am absolutely a grungy kind of girl and always get excited about Tim's releases from Ranger, Sizzix, Idea-ology, and Stampers Anonymous.  Something about his designs and products speak to me.  Any of you who have been following me or know me personally know that I just get excited about being able to ink and distress, ha, ha, ha.  Doesn't take much to make me happy.

This is a photo heavy post.  Grab a cuppa and enjoy the Tim Holtz train ride.  Yahoo!

Loving the botanical and nature feel to these releases.  It all started in December with the Jumbo Tattered Florals Die along with the Garden Greens and Spring Greenery.  I just absolutely squealed when I saw the Bigz with Texture Fades Layered Bee, Layered Butterfly, and Layered Dragonfly.  The samples at the show did not disappoint.  I must have taken a dozen photos of this piece.  I know I am going to do my own version.  So cool.  Looking forward to layering the wings and inking up these textured bugs!

In addition to the greenery, and bugs there are also bird themed images and sand and sea images.

A new installment of the blue print stamps was introduced.

More stencils and stamps to fall in love with.

My favorite stamp set is this little bird beauty.  Its CMS180 Bird Feather.

The Idea-ology booth is just a little slice of heaven.  A vintage at home feel prevails.  All of the hard work of Tim's team shows as the booth just makes the product shine!

Love, love, love the new paper stash Wallflower.  Flora and Fauna abound.  So yummy.  Can't wait to get my hands on this.

Idea-ology I'm looking forward to working with includes the Custom Knobs, Heart Charms, Adornments, Nature,  Letterpress (can I just say Wow!), Clipboard Clips, the Ephermera Packs, the Cabinet Cards, Found Relatives, Alpha Chips, Industrious Stickers Frames and Trims, the Collection Folios, the Large Worn Cover, and of course the latest version of A Compendium of Curiosities Volume III.  Oh all right, I just want to play with all of the Idea-ology!  Love!

Other releases that I didn't capture with photos includes the Tonic shears, the mini blending tools,  sets of mini distress inks, and the Distress Marker Spritzer.

You can check out more recaps on Tim's blog, on Paula Cheney's blog One Lucky Day, and on Richele Christensen's blog California Art Girl.

I will be back tomorrow with another CHA Winter 2014 review.  I think I can wrap it up in one more post.  Then it will be back to sharing some projects I've been working on since returning from CHA.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Happy Creating!

Hugs,  Sharon

    1. You are so welcome Paula! Must be hard to see it go down after the months of planning. Ya I could have fun if my craft room was stocked with all that stuff and all that art work for inspiration.
